Write a Book Review

Write a book review and receive a secret code! To write a book review, go to the "Logging" page from your READsquared account and then click, "Review Book." Once a librarian sees your review, we'll e-mail you a secret code to complete this mission (please allow a day for response).

Write Your Story

Submit a short story where you are the main character. It can be any genre you want, fantasy, mystery, realistic fiction, etc… All submissions will be displayed on the library website’s summer reading page. After submission is ended, one winner will be announced and receive a $25 Barnes and Noble gift card. You can submit your story between June 16-June 26. The winner will be announced on June 30.

Photograph Your Story

Submit a series of photographs that tell a story. Grab your camera, take pictures of the things around you. Be as creative as you want. Only text allowed are captions. All submissions will be displayed on the library website’s summer reading page. After submission is ended, one winner will receive a $25 Barnes and Noble gift card. You can submit your photo story between June 30 and July 10. The winner will be announced on July 14.

Speak Your Story

Submit a play that you could perform over zoom! All submissions will be displayed on the library website’s summer reading page. After submission is ended, one winner will be announced and receive a $25 Barnes and Noble gift card. You can submit your play between July 14 and July 24. The winner will be announced on July 28.

Cover Your Story

Submit a book cover. You can create one for your own story or replicate a cover that already exists. All submissions will be displayed on the library website’s summer reading page. After submission is ended, one winner will be announced and receive a $25 Barnes and Noble gift card. You can submit your book cover between July 28 and August 7. The winner will be announced on August 11.
